The second Bundesliga goal by the 23 year old Serbian striker Radomir Djalovic is somewhat an oddity, as the former Crvena zvezda player only seems to score against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. It is already one year ago, when the Armenia Bielefeld striker scored his last Bundesliga goal. It was against Leverkusen and the end result was 1:0. This weekend the same story was repeated again, when Djalovic scored a nice header in the 5th minute of the game – end result was 1:0 for Arminia again. The young Serb otherwise didn’t have many chances, to prove his quality so far. This season he was mainly a substitution. In 12 Bundesliga games he came in as substitute 11 times. The only time he was a starter was ... of course ... on Saturday against Bayer Leverkusen. Arminia Bielefeld is currently on rank 11 and does surprisingly very well in the Bundesliga so far.
Another interesting game took place in Cologne last weekend. The game between relegation threatened 1.FC Köln and 1.FC Nürnberg ended 3:4 in Bundesliga’s most exciting match of the weekend. Nürnberg went in front with 3 goals from Slovakian striker Robert Vittek, who now scored an amazing 6 goals within 2 games and one week. The Croatian defender Boris Zivkovic, who is on loan from VfB Stuttgart, scored then in the 27th minute for 1:3, after a corner with his head. 18th placed Cologne tried to come back, but had to give in to Nürnberg at the end, due to lack of fitness. Cologne will face relegation most probably, as the team is now 6 points behind a non-relegation place and at the very bottom of the Bundesliga table.
